Build your own island
This is a simple stud. In much the same way you would never joint sheetrock in your home without a stud, the same principles apply to your outdoor kitchen. Concrete board, hardibacker board, and go board are most commonly found in 5' lengths. Since most islands don't ever work out to have a stud in the exact spot where you need it, this provides a strong and rigid surface joint for two sheets of material every 5' and speeds up your installation, while reducing wasted time and materials. The studs fits into the island where needed with the hardware required. Can be 1.5" wide or optional 2" wide.
Kit includes 1 stud, (2) T brackets and hardware
Note: One extra 1.5" joint stud is included with the grill kit. If you have chosen any grill option in the "build your own island" category, and your island is 10' or less, no extra joint studs are needed.
"Grill option" includes 1 joiner stud. If no grill was Option was chosen, add one stud for every 5' of island.
Up to a 10' island needs one additional stud (or none with grill option chosen)
10' 1" up to a 15' island needs two additional studs (or one with a grill option chosen)
15' 1" up to 20' island needs three additional studs (or two with a grill option chosen)
20'1" up to 25' 'island needs 4 additional studs (or three with a grill option chosen)
